Somalia — The Somali president's office in the Somali capital Mogadishu has explained Friday the trip of president Sharif Sheik Ahmed as he returned home on Thursday.
Sources close to the president's office expressed good hope for the travel of president Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed for visiting more countries in abroad including the neighboring countries and met with many different head of states.
Reliable sources close to the information affairs office of the presidential palace said that the Somali present had met with more heads of the African Union in Addis Ababa and talked more about how the transitional government would get quick support from the international community and AU to bolster the TFG.
Reports say that president Sharif Sheik Ahmed had met with the Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni in Uganda and discussed more on the situation of the country as well as the AU summit in Libya which was talked the Somali matters.
The sources said that all those meetings were discussed on the situation of Somalia and how the government would be supported and the reinforcement of AMISOM forces in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
The statement of the presidents' office in the capital comes as a delegate led by president Sharif Sheik Ahmed returned on home on Thursday.
